Workshop Planning → Implementation

As part of my relationship with clients, I have been involved in numerous workshops from design to facilitation. Clients have included facebook, American Express, Medidata, Ciena Networks, BNY Mellon, KinderCare and Partner’s Group.

In addition to my client facing work, I have worked with companies such as Fast Company in workshop settings. A copy of a design research based workshop given at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering can be read here.

💭Creation

From 2 hour client workshops to multi-day collaboration sessions, I have created workshops for clients ranging from healthcare to financial services to technology providers.

I use a variety of mediums to create an engaging, innovative and impactful experience for all workshop attendees; these include hands-on prototyping, group discussions, and small collaboration sessions.

🖍 Implementation

During workshops, I have acted as a moderator, a workshop lead, and a group participant. Having been a participant many times, I bring a sense of empathy to the workshops I lead.

My extensive experience in creating workshop materials allows me to accurately understand cadence and timing throughout sessions.

📌Synthesis

Client input is pivotal to much of the design process - I often use workshops to synthesize and brainstorm concepts with a design team; the data gathered from the workshops hugely impacts the next steps of concept generation.
